This weekend we celebrated in Nashville with Adam and Candice as they said "I do" to starting their lives together as one. It was a fun weekend, and mostly a Davis and Cindy weekend as we went by ourselves...so it was a lazy one with TV shows, movies, and computers.
We went to Monell's for lunch and that makes for several meals! You can read all about it below at the link below.

We were also able to spend a couple of days with family and that's always a plus! The wedding was super fun, Davis danced so that always makes for a good time :) Thanks to my parents for the airport pickup & drop offs & the use of whitey, you guys are the BEST!
I didn't take many pictures, but we did have our pictures taken at the photo booth ;)

Wedding Bliss
This past weekend we attended HG and Jed's wedding. What an event! It was beautiful, exquisite, and more fun than I could ever put in words!
We rented a house with Kristin and Russ for the weekend and it was wonderful. It was on the top of the world and had amazing views! It was so much fun being together but have our own space as well, I think this is the way I am going to do all weddings from now on.
Friday night was the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner at the equestrian center. It was great getting to see everyone before the big day and being able to introduce Davis to everyone he didn't know but had heard so much about!
Saturday we walked around Carmel Valley and ejoyed a delicious lunch before getting ready for the BIG event. A bus picked us up from the house so that no one had to be the designated driver, great idea! We arrived at the venue and were greeted with a variety of drinks before being lead to the actually wedding ceremony site. Everything was perfect...awesome musicians, stunning bridesmaids, and of course a beautiful bride. Their dog was the ring bearer which was too cute! Following the ceremony, we were served cocktails and hors d'œuvres while the wedding party had pictures made.
This was followed by a champagne toast and delicious food. Then the motown band made their way to the stage for a couple of hours of fabulous oldies. We were then lead to the after party in a beautifully all white decorated greenhouse for many more hours of dancing to the DJ's beats. There was a whisky lounge by a fire pit outside of the greenhouse as well as more food (this enabled people to dance all night long)! Dancing is my favorite acitivity so this was my favorite part of the wedding by far! The bus carried us home at 2am.
Sunday was brunch and lawn games. It was yet again beautifully decorated with vintage sofas on the lawn and a ukulele player. It was a wonderful ending to a busy weekend!
Thanks HG and Jed for a wonderful wedding weekend! Congratulations to you both! We love you and are blessed to have you as friends! We can't wait to see what the future has in store for you :)

Wedding Season
The sun is out and love has sprung. A couple of our good friends got engaged recently and I felt the need to post! Congrats Adam and Grace, I am super happy for you both :)
Also my dear friend had her bachelorette weekend last weekend and it was a blast. I am blessed to know her and call her my friend. What an awesome weekend!!! We went to a cooking class Friday night where I learned how to butcher a chicken, something I have always wanted to learn. Saturday we ran a 5K, followed by coffee and cupcakes...had some down time before hitting the city for dinner, karaoke, and dancing! It was a long but wonderful day. Sunday we indulged in an awesome brunch before packing our limo bus and heading home. Thanks HG for a wonderful loaded girls weekend!!

Tot's Day
The day my best friend becomes a wife. I never really thought about it too much until it was here and I am not really sure why but it was a sad (but happy) day. I don't know if it was because we are growing up and becoming old or if it was that in my mind we are now definitely going down separate roads, but something about your best friend getting married is sad. Maybe it was just because she was so gosh darn beautiful! It was a great day! It was like a college reunion. All of our closest friends have left Knoxville, but 1 and so it was nice to get to see them all back in TN. We obviously flew in from Seattle and there were people from California, Juneau, South Carolina, Virginia, and Georgia. What a great crew :) I loved every minute of getting to see everyone and I look forward to the next wedding that will constitute as a college reunion!
The weather although a bit HOT was perfect! The reception was a blast with lots of dancing, I LOVE to dance so I LOVE receptions!

My camera died or there would have been a ton more pictures and I am hoping out of everyone there, there will be more picture to come! I don't have any dancing pictures which are much needed :)
Congratulations Tosha and Brian! I am so happy for you both and I hope you have many many years of bliss! I love you both! The wedding was beautiful, job well done!
