Turkey, Whistler, and Vancouver
I love long weekends especially when they involve traveling!
One of the perks of my job is free turkeys for Thanksgiving (odd I know), but we couldn't waste it soooo at 7pm Wednesday night I started cooking my 13 lb turkey.

Since we were going to be on a bus for 6 hours the next day and it was Thanksgiving, we took some turkey with us and had turkey for lunch on Turkey Day! Thanks Vaupell

Davis driving the skytrain in Vancouver....Canadians would put a seat in that location knowing no one will be driving!

After leaving Whistler, we made a pit stop in Vancouver for the night. It was our friend, Mary's, birthday and it was a great ending to a perfect weekend!
A short version of what I am thankful for: my loving husband who always makes me laugh, my wonderful family (I miss you all more than you know), my job (I finally got one and I love it), my dogs because they are super cute and keep me company while the husband travels, my house, and last but certainly not least all of my friends. I could go on but this is the short list!

Ray is in town!
Ray, one of Davis' groomsmen, is in town for the weekend. He landed last night and is leaving Sunday morning. Today I had to work, but Davis and Ray took Beast to the dog park and went to the market. They picked up some fresh Alaskan halibut at the market and prepared it for dinner. It was absolutely delicious!!! It's so awesome living so close to the market. I should have taken a picture of it....oops! Anyway, it was baked with a mixture of sour cream, salt, pepper, lemon juice, parmesan cheese, and bread crumbs as a topping. Tomorrow I have to work in the morning and then I will enjoy the rest of the day with the boys. Saturday we are going snowboarding in the morning and then the boys are taking in a Seattle Sounders soccer game while I study.
We were also informed this week that our next known visitor is going to be Tito, an usher from the wedding. He will be here late May. We love visitors!

Boarding
Davis and I love to go snowboarding on the weekends! It is something that we both love & it's awesome to have the athletic common interest! Pictures below....
This picture is from a few weeks ago when 2 friends from college were in town on business. We were so glad to see familiar faces and be able to show them our city! This picture is in front of the gum wall in Post Alley!
