Charity events

I participated in 2 charity fashion shows this past weekend. I participated in both of these shows last year and had a blast while also scoring some great deals so of course when I was asked again this year, I said yes! They both were hugely successful and I had a great time working with Carly and Tina. I once again scored some very awesome deals even better than last year!!

The last picture is of the line out the door and around the corner for fashion show number 1, needless to say there were a lot of people there. The second show sold out last year so they changed venues this year to hold more people. I am not sure of the final headcount, but we definitely raised more money this year!

SPU Fashion Show

Saturday night was the Seattle Pacific University's 3rd annual fashion show. I participated last year because my good friend Carly put the show together well this year she was just a model in the show but reach out for my help so willingly I helped and it was a great show. The show was much improved from last year and I am sure it will only get better in the coming years as it is a fairly new event still. Here are some pictures from last night's event.

Sneak Peek

Tonight was the 1st fashion show for the week and it was a hit! It was so much fun. It was for CRAVE, a company that innovatively connects urban gals to the sassiest, gutsiest, most inspiring people they need to know in Seattle. It is a modern marketplace of soirees, gatherings and online networking serves as your ambassador to everything there is to CRAVE about the Emerald City.

It was held at this venue which was unbelievably beautiful!

Here are some point and shoot camera shots, but this show was unique in that we had a photographer backstage the entire show so I should have some really good shots coming up.

This show and the show on Saturday is all about Recycled materials and being GREEN so the designs are totally organic and recycled materials which is really cool!

Luly Yang

I was selected yesterday to be one of Luly Yang's couture models. The show isn't until May, but it will be a huge production and I am super excited to get to work with Luly. She is an amazing designer! I will keep you posted as time passes and send any photos your way.

Her is a link to her site so you can see her work, Luly Yang.

12 Days Kick-Off Party

Tuesday night I participated in a charitable Christmas kick-off party at Hotel 1000. It was one of the more interesting fashion shows I have ever done because we were spokes models which meant we didn't just wear clothes, but we showed chairs and lamps. Another one of my friends, Kristina, participated too and we had a lot of fun with it.

I will post more pictures as I get them. We have a ton from that night, but I don't have them yet!

A Girls Trip

So much has happened....it is hard to keep updated as things happen, but last week I had an interview with Grant Thornton (a tier 2 firm, which means a relatively big accounting firm without being a BIG 4). The interview went well and I hope to hear something this week.

This weekend I went to Yakima with 3 other beautiful ladies. Yakima is a city to the south-east of Seattle by about 2.5 hours. It was beautiful! It is also Carly's, my friend in fashion design school, home town. There was a fashion show being put on in Yakima and Carly had 6 designs in it and we were her models! We had a blast!! We left Friday morning and arrived at her house at noon. Her mother had us lunch ready and we were able to lay out by the pool before hair and make-up! It was so nice to have the homey feeling since I am so far away from home! The show was GREAT and Carly's designs were of course the BEST. After the show we had dinner and drinks. We had a great time talking, dancing, and counting bobby pins at the end of the night. The next morning after breakfast we returned to Seattle.

In Davis traveling news....he will be in Mexico City this week and San Jose next week and I am going with him to San Jose....can't wait!!!
