This past weekend we went to a haunted house and to see Saw V. Halloween is like Davis's favorite time of year because he loves scary things. The haunted house was good although Davis thought it was short. Saw V was Saw V. It was good if you like the Saws. We watched House of 1000 Corpses Saturday night. We went for a 26 mile bike ride on Sunday and it was so nice outside. We have decided that we love this city. It is beautiful here. We also love our location downtown. There is so much to do.

The long awaited pictures
A little update first though.
I started babysitting a 6 month old girl last week. Her name is Vivian and she is as sweet as she can be. She is a doll. Davis is actually working from the client's office this week as well. A whole new life it seems with us both being gone during the days. I had an interview with Deloitte yesterday for an audit position starting in August. I also have to decided to learn to crochet and my first project is a hat.
Davis and I made zucchini fritters last night for dinner and it was a mess. I am not sure what we did wrong besides not have a skillet, but they still turned out alright. Davis cooked them like he does pancakes and they were edible. I didn't take any pictures although I should have.
I schedule my last part of the CPA exam, hopefully, for 2 weeks from Thursday. I started studying yesterday and should be able to be done in this amount of time considering it is the shortest exam.
Here are some pictures. I should have more after Davis's dad and Tot sends me the ones they took!

NO one could ask for better friends
Tot & Tyler visited! They landed Wednesday. The first night they were here we went to 2 Irish pubs after walking out of a fancy restaurant (because we are cheap). We went out a lot (made up for lost time). The next day they rented bikes and we biked all over the city. We probably biked for 20 miles. It was a great day to do so until the end. The last stop on our bike tour was University of Washington and as we were crossing the bridge to campus it started raining. It was sooo cold and we got soaked. It was a great story because we also got separated and had to have Tot and Tyler's bikes back to the shop by 5pm. Luckily, we all made it without wrecking! Although I did have a really close call that would have ended up very badly. I made chili for dinner that night and we watched a movie.
The next day we walked around the shopping district and the waterfront. It was Friday and our goal was to find all good happy hours. I would say we were successful. We found a Mexican place with $3 appetizers, another place with $1.95 provolone cheeseburgers, a place with $5 pizzas and great cheese fries. Don't worry, we did order food at all of the above mentioned places. It was a great night.
Saturday we watched the game. Of course we lost. After the game, Davis had to pick up his parents from the airport so off Tot, Tyler, and I went to another happy hour. We met up with Davis and his parents for dinner. After dinner his parents went to their hotel and we went to another happy hour. By the way, happy hours are great in Seattle because they have 2 a day. We also indulged in a huge brownie dessert! We went back to the apartment and played spades. We tied! Long story, but we tied.
Tyler left on Sunday :( Davis's parents and the rest of us went to an underground tour which was actually quite informative. After the tour we went to dinner and then to a cheesecake shop where Tot and I shared a moccochino and quadruple chocolate cheesecake. It was delicious! and less then 2 blocks from our apartment! I love this city.
This morning Tot left :(
I miss you both already and I am so glad that you both visited!
As said before I will post pictures when I get my computer back which should be this week.

a GREAT MOM weekend
So, mom left this morning :( but we had a great time while she was here and we are very glad that she was able to make it! She landed on Friday evening and after picking her up from the airport we went to El Malecon, one of our favorite Mexican restaurants. We then watched a movie (well I watched a movie while Dave and mom slept through it).
The next morning it was raining so we went to Bellevue Square, which is a really nice mall. It was a good trip. I was able to buy mom 'the' birthday present I was wanting to get her. We also found some great deals on shoes. After the mall, we were exhausted so we ordered in Chinese. It was delicious!
Then on Sunday we walked around downtown and through the market. She was impressed with all of the fresh food in the market. After walking we came back and took a nap. I know what a life we live! After the nap mom and I went for a bike ride....I was impressed that mom could ride a bike (she told me that she could, but I was doubtful)! We rode the waterfront. It is a beautiful bike ride. That night we went to West Seattle and ate at Salty's, an expensive restaurant on the water. It has the best view ever of the city and I was just excited to be able to enjoy the view & especially to be able to show it to mom. The meal was delicious and we had a birthday white chocolate mousse cake afterwards.
This morning after waking up, I took mom to IKEA and the airport.
Thanks mom for visiting! We loved having you! Happy early Birthday!
I will post pictures when I get my computer back from Dell.
