It's hard to believe how different working full time has been. I am extremely busy at work and when I come home the last thing I want to do is get on my computer. My computer has not been this well rested in years, actually it has probably never been turned off as much as it has been lately. Just to catch you up to speed on life.....I am very busy and loving my job. We have been doing things around the house on the weekend, been extremely lazy watching football, and had many game nights.
In other news I am coming home for Mom's birthday weekend and indulging in a girls spa weekend! I can't wait, it will definitely be much deserved for all of us :)
The dogs are still in class and improving weekly. I am looking for a house cleaner still but do have someone coming tomorrow for a consultation. We have had 2 friends get engaged recently. 2 other couples are getting married this weekend/got married last weekend, so a lot going on and exciting stuff happening.

Easy Skirt
I sewed this skirt last weekend and it was super easy, it might have taken me 3 hours total and I am pretty OCD about things. Here is a tutorial if you want to make one too :)

Doggy Kindergarten
The dogs started school last week. Belle was attacked a while back at a park and has yet to get over it, so she growls at all dogs (and it's a bit embarrassing)....esp while running or hiking! She never gets tired enough to stop.
So we enrolled them both into basic obedience classes, Beast is actually a pretty good dog and knows most if not all of the basic commands, but we didn't want to leave him at home and we figured it would be good for him to have weekly interaction with other dogs so he goes to Kindergarten too :) This class lasts 6 weeks and then they will graduate to Intermediate (I am excited for this one to see what new tricks you can teach an old dog)!
I will try to take pictures next week of them in class.

Labor Day Activities
It was nice to have a long (but not long enough) weekend. Holidays are much more appreciated when you are a FT employee. I have been uber busy at work which is awesome, I still love my job.
Friday - We went shopping, I got lots of great fabric from Joann's. We then had dinner with friends and then as always (now that I am working) went to bed on the early side.
Saturday was a great day. We went downtown to do more shopping. We did some home improvement shopping, I got slimline hangers among other things. Pictures to come. We went to AT&T and got me a much deserved iPhone and I LOVE it!! We mostly piddled around downtown, which is one of my favorite things to do.
Sunday was a home improvement/lazy day. We finally did make it outside around 7pm when we went to a friend's house for dinner and games. We played Dominion, it was a great game for all of those looking for a good card game.
Monday we went on a family hike. We took the dogs on a 4 mile hike....this was their first ever hike and they did amazingly well :) I was sooo proud of them. After the hike we felt like we deserved Chen's (which I think has become our new favorite Chinese joint).
